Nigerian Gospel

Singing gospel hymns is a habit that was brought to Nigeria in the late 15th century by Portuguese Catholic missionaries who landed in Benin city at the time.  These songs were usually performed during church services at the time. They took the form of monophonic liturgy, such as Gregorian chant - songs without polyphony, not written (presented in parts), and with only one melody line. Missionary operations in Nigeria had resurrected by the mid-nineteenth century, after a period of decline. The Church Missionary Society (CMS), which is owned and sponsored by the Church of England, was the driving force behind it this time (Anglican Communion). CMS's activities were mostly focused on the south-west region of Nigeria during the time. With over 100 songs and music you will never be short of music to listen to. This app will update with Nigeria gospel songs this app is very light weight and takes up hardly any room on your phone Nigerian gospel
